Let's Get Together
From Weekend Magazine (Washington Post),
February 20, 2004
Girls' Night In has some depth and a more lasting impact than meeting the girls for drinks. The entertainment, decor, food and beverages may vary, but the common core is always talk and connection. As Cole Johson emphasizes, more women are finding it appealing to create some sort of gathering that "allows us to get together in an atmosphere thats accepting and allows us to participate in each other's lives in a way that helps us get through the day." That's way Girls' Night In will always be "in." Here are some resources to try if you decide to throw your own yoga or spa party.
Evergreen Yoga and The More Yoga Game - Bethesda.
301.320.3630 or 888.MRE.YOGA. www.moreyoga.com.
Game is $27.95. Party price varies according to distance
and length of time.

More Yoga, Please
From Yoga Journal, July 2002
Many teachers encourage a sense of playfulness during yoga, but Shelly
Greenberg, founder of the Evergreen Yoga Studio in Bethesda, Maryland,
has taken this one step further. The More Yoga Game bills itself as a
yoga class in a can. It includes 108 activity cards, six glass jewels,
and a chakra scroll – the first one to reach the Crown Center wins.
The cards include instructions for asana, pranayama, and yoga philosophy,
and can be played alone, with a group, while traveling, or used as a script
for new teachers. “I’ve always wanted the whole world to do
yoga, “ says Greenberg. “In my studio, I can only teach 100
people a week. This way I can get it out there.” Contact www.moreyoga.com,
